speed the light

Speed the Light is the student-initiated ministry that provides transportation and communications equipment to missionaries across the United States and in over 150 countries around the world.

Because Assemblies of God students have accepted this great responsibility to voluntarily raise funds to purchase the equipment, STL is one of the most effective missions programs in the church world. Since its establishment in 1944, STL has raised over 185 million dollars for missionary equipment around the globe.

The Alabama District is recognized nationally as a Speed the Light District. We are happy to report that through the mercy of God and your faithfulness we had an incredible year in 2011. Congratulations to ALL of our churches who by your sacrificial giving made the Alabama District 2nd in the nation in Speed the Light giving! Our total giving for 2011 was $562,784.16! Please help us continue this outstanding giving in 2011!
