Congratulations to New Life Assembly, Athens for placing 1st in this years State Bible Quiz Tournament. The second place team was Gospel Lighthouse, Semmes. The top individual quizzer for the state was Chelsea Rester from Gospel Lighthouse, Semmes ; and the second highest quizzer was Megan Boone from New Life, Athens. This was Alabama’s year to host the Southeast Regional Bible Quiz finals. Both of these teams represented us very well in their Regionals debut, with several close matches. Gospel Lighthouse qualified for a spot at this year’s National Finals in Lexington, Kentucky this past July. We are proud of both of these teams and their accomplishments. A special thanks to Matt & Carrie Britt who did an excellent job as our State Bible Quiz Coordinators this year. If you would be interested in forming a team for this quiz year please contact them and they would be more than happy to get you started.
